The Bassano Beavers delivered a stellar performance against the Calgary Bandits, securing a 4-1 victory at the Banff Recreation Centre on October 1, 2026. The Beavers dominated the game, relentlessly attacking the Bandits’ net with four shots, three of which found their mark.

Austin Stewardson, the Beavers’ forward, led the charge, scoring two of the four goals, demonstrating his offensive prowess and contributing significantly to the team’s victory. On the other side, the Bandits struggled to find their footing, managing just one goal courtesy of Ryker Dielwart.

Interestingly, despite the Bandits having seven powerplay opportunities, they failed to convert any into goals. The Beavers, on the other hand, didn’t fare much better with their powerplay, going 0 for 2. However, their strong defense and superior goalkeeping managed to keep the Bandits at bay, with the Beavers’ goalie making crucial saves.

The game was a testament to the Beavers’ defensive solidity and offensive efficiency. They managed to control the game, keeping the Bandits’ attacks at bay while capitalizing on their own chances.

Looking ahead, the Bassano Beavers will next face off against Claresholm at their home ground, the Bassano Arena, on Saturday, October 3rd, at 7:30 pm. Fans will be eagerly awaiting to see if the Beavers can carry forward their momentum from this victory into their next game.
